After retiring from New Jersey’s finest, Luz puts up with the lack of amusements that are get-out-of-bed-and-brush-your-teeth worthy with her usual grace—she gets crabby. Until a gangster’s dead body drops her in the middle of the hottest, unsolved crime of the day. Once again, Luz sets her wits against the cunning of the criminally minded.
