Writing about Cannoli, Meg's pet corgi in Hook, Line, and Murder, is pure fun. I only have to look at our Nugget and Whiskey to know Cannoli. She's as every bit as friendly and adorable as our two babies, both of which came into our life on January 2021; Nugget was twelve weeks old and Whiskey was eight weeks old then. One look in their eyes and I was theirs forever. Whiskey weighed almost the same as Nugget and I knew he was going to grow up a big bruiser of a corgi. And he did! Whiskey is thirty-eight pounds now while Nugget is a svelte thirty pounds. But Whiskey is still the puppy he was when he first came home to us. Too heavy for me to lift for a kiss, yes, but we manage. We always will.
